Our close friends hired Michael for a home inspection for their property and highly recommended him to us. As first time home buyers we were quite nervous as owing a home is a sizeable investment and commitment. We knew a home inspection was important.  We called a few home inspection companies to compare their services but ultimately decided on Michael. His approach for our first phone conversation immediately put us at ease. He spent time answering our questions, some of our concerns of the house and above all helped us prepare for the day of inspection.  During the home inspection, Michael was thorough and informative in explaining his evaluation of the property. He identified in particular some major issues of a wet basement as a result of failed perimeter drainage. We didn’t know how important drainage was and the major costs involved repairing it. With this major deficiency along with many other recommended improvements, we were able to renegotiate our terms of purchase saving us thousands of dollars. We love the house and are truly appreciative of his efforts. My wife and I are now proud home owners in Burnaby.
